Comments: In my opinion members of the travelling community are to be applauded for staring in the face of ignorance and bigotry for generations, They are an ethnic minority and one that the irish people should be proud of they have a wonderfull heritage and a set of beliefs that should be embraced. I think we as a people need to open our eyes to the injustice suffered by travellers we are depriving ourselves of our history because the travelling community are a part of it.

Comments: Denying Traveller ethnicity makes it easier for the state to wipe out traveler identity by forcing travellers to settle and assimilate. Irish state policy is ethnic cleansing with a concerned look on its face. Respect Traveller ethnicity, identity and Traveller pride and build a society that is meaningful to all.
