Education

The ITM is striving to achieve equality for Travellers in education: equality of access, participation
and outcome. Equality of access, where Travellers can enroll their children in the schools of their choice;
equality of participation, where Traveller culture and identity is validated in the school and cultural
diversity respected in the curriculum; and equality of outcome, where Travellers will achieve their full
potential and attain levels of education similar to the majority population.
